When done, it still had me flipping back and forth 3 times between dropbox and excel having to ask Excel 3 times to actually open the file. (Should be reproducible).
When it was ready to open the file, it turns out Excel cannot open XLS files. Imagine that. Apparently had to ship it somewhere for online conversion (to xlsx I assume). All in all a big Nay from me.
All the time I had this nagging, growing feeling that this is something Microsoft misinterpreted that they could get away with during the time of their Monopoly in the 90s and 2000s. Please make better software. Surprising that Microsoft would release this for free as well as it works for reading, creating, and editing xlsx files. Niggling problem: even in cells I've defined as 'number,' it keeps switching back to an 'alpha' keyboard; even if I select a 'number keypad' style. Msh Brain Flybarless Software more. Tho' it's getting annoying that I have to sign into MS' online doc service even when editing a doc on the device. Well, you can edit 'offline' for a time, but have often run into the limit, attempted to sign on, gotten the puzzling 'We've encountered an error,' then it refuses to continue. If I get that too many more times, I may try switching to AndrOpen Office.
